Centreville baseball wins D-3 District title
(SCHOOLCRAFT) – The Centreville baseball team won a Division 3 District title on Saturday, beat Union City 2-1 in the semifinals and then scored 5 runs in the top of the seventh inning with two outs to get a 7-6 win over Constantine in the District Finals. Constantine won their semifinal game 5-0 over Bronson. In the District Finals, Constantine was up 6-2 and then the Bulldogs went to work in the seventh inning. Kobe Carpenter had a 3 run double for Centreville, helping them get the win. Constantine got RBI singles from Brenden Presswood, Alex Brossman and from Cooper Juday. Centreville will take on host Bridgman in a Wednesday Regional semifinal game.
