Sturgis evens record with 48-14 win over Plainwell
(PLAINWELL) – A road trip was just want the Sturgis football team needed to snap a two game losing streak, as they traveled to Plainwell and beat the host Trojans 48-14. Dalton Tisdel led the ground game for Sturgis with 29 carries for 206 yards and 4 touchdowns. Taner Patrick was 10 of 14 for 127 yards for a TD, and Rasean O’Tey had one receptions for 35 yards and a score. LINKC. Tisdel had 11 tackles and Dawson Miller had 6 stops. Sturgis is now 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Wolverine Conference. Plainwell falls to 1-3 and 0-2 in the Conference.
