(PITTSFORD) – The Mendon boys and girls track teams were in action at the Pittsford Jamboree, with the Hornet boys finishing second and the girls third. In the boys events, Jack McCaw won the 100 meters, the long jump and was part of the winning 1600 meter relay team. Ryder Gorham won the 1600 meters and was also part of the 1600 meter relay as was Ben Iobe, who also won the 3200 meters. For the girls, Kayla Wenzel was fourth in the 300 meter hurdles, and was part of the third place 800 meter relay teams and part of the fourth place 400 meter relay team. Brianna Heitkamp took third in the shot put and fourth in the discus. Alicyn Arevalo was second in the high jump and fourth in the long jump.
