
(PAW PAW) – Host Paw Paw scored 28 first quarter points, and went on to beat the visiting Sturgis Trojans 63-0 in the Wolverine Conference opener for both teams. The Trojans has moving the ball, but did get a bit of offense going in the third quarter. Overall, Sturgis was held to 15 yards of total offense. Kaidyn Fugate had 13 carries for 7 yards to lead the ground game. LINKC. Beckett Lamb was 10 of 23 for 45 yards and an interception. Lamb and Todd Guijosa each had 5 tackles. Sturgis is now 0-3 on season and 0-1 in the Conference. They will take on Plainwell next Friday. Paw Paw is 3-0 and 1-0 in the Wolverine.
