
Three Rivers loses conference opener to Niles 55-6
(NILES) – The Three Rivers football team dropped their Wolverine Conference opener to host Niles, and former coach Scott Shaw 55-6. The game was scheduled to by played at Three Rivers, but was moved due to Niles due to the threats that closed Three Rivers Schools on Friday. The Vikings rushed for 330 yards and had 489 yards of total offense, while the Wildcats had 75 yards of total offense. Marshall Andrews III had 4 carries for 34 yards for Three Rivers. Aidan Williams was 4 for 7 for 5 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Brayden Carpenter caught the TD pass, and had 2 receptions for 59 yards. Jace Gray had 5 tackles and Blake Stewart had 4. Three rivers is 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference. They will play Edwardsburg next Friday. Niles is 2-1 and 1-0 in the Wolverine.
