Constantine tops Schoolcraft 31-29 in OT
(SCHOOLCRAFT) – It had the feeling of a playoff game as Constantine traveled to Schoolcraft and beat the Eagles 31-29 in OT. The host Eagles had a chance to win it late in the fourth quarter after scoring a touchdown to tie the score, but the extra point kick hit the upright and bounced away. In overtime, Constantine scored first and added a two point conversion. Schoolcraft scored but their two point conversion was stopped short. LINKC. Brody Jones led the rushing attack for Constantine with 122 yards and two touchdowns. Brody Godfrey had 64 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, including the game winner in overtimes. Jones had 10 tackles on defense. Godfrey and Canon Manley each had 7 tackles. With the win, Constantine is now 3-0 on the season while Schoolcraft is now 2-1.
