(PORTAGE) – The Sturgis girls cross country team is heading to the Division 2 State Finals, after a second place finish at the Regional meet at Portage West Middle School. Three Rivers finished ninth and Coldwater was tenth. Berkley Holtz (19:32), Sydney Bir (19:39) and Tessa Hatt (19:40) of Sturgis finished third, fourth and fifth respectively. Coldwater’s Gweneth Eby was 14th (20:24) and qualifies as an individual for the State Finals. Lillie Kerr of Three Rivers was 24th (21:05).
