(OTSEGO) – The Sturgis girls swimming and diving team finished second at the SCC League Conference Championship with 398 points. Allegan finished first with 433 points and host Otsego was fourth with 315 points. The 200 medley relay team of Kaylee Draper, Kenzy Triezenberg, Ainsley Gump and Emma Garbine were conference champs, breaking their own team record, the Otsego pool record and the SCC meet record in a time of 1:51.8. Draper, Hannah Garbine, Emma Garbine and Gump were conference champs in the 400 freestyle relay, breaking their own team record and the Otsego pool record with a time of 3:43.46 Draper was also conference champion in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke. Gump was conference champion in the 50 freestyle. Triezenberg was conference champ in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:10/40. That time breaks the team record and qualifiers her for the State Meet, which will be November 22 and November 23 at Oakland University.
