(BURR OAK) – Host Burr Oak beat Waldron 59-44 in their boys basketball home and season opener. Coach Ryan VanDosen says it was a great team win with everyone playing unselfishly and with a good defensive effort. Austin Cole led the Bobcats with 21 points, 7 assists, 4 steals and 3 rebounds. Ethan Boyles added 13 points and 2 rebounds while Braxton Boyles has 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals on the night.
