(LAGRANGE) – The host Lakeland boys basketball team won their home and season opener as they beat the F.W. Homeschool Hawks 52-49 in the debut of new head coach T.J. Schneider. The Lakers let a big second half lead slip away but held on for the victory. Kyle Hartsough led the Lakers with a team high 12 points. LINKC. Keegan Merrifield and Justin Carlson each had 11 points as Lakeland starts the year off at 1-0.
