(UNDATED) – Some members of the Mendon football team were named 8 Man All State in 2024 by the Michigan Sports Writers. Named First Team All State is Owen Gorham of Mendon. Joining him are Carter Bell of Gobles, Chase VanMiddlesworth of Climax-Scotts and Hunter Garza of Deckerville, who was also named the Player Of The Year. Selected Second Team All State are Talan Buchanan of Mendon; Luke Lawrence of Climax-Scotts along with Mason Mansfield of Gobles. All State Honorable Mention was given to Nick Stiver of Mendon and Colt Myers of B.C. St. Philip.
