(COLDWATER) – In a pair of Interstate 8 make up games, host Coldwater beat Jackson Northwest 6-1 and rallying to wins game two 6-5. In game one, Laynie VanAken got the win in the circle, striking out 13 while giving up 4 hits and 1 run. MacKenzie Searing got the win in relief in game two, giving up just 1 hit in two innings. VanAken had 3 RBI on the day. Mya Porter hit a homer in the second game for the Lady Cardinals, who are now 19-4 overall and 8-2 in the Interstate 8.
