(COLON) – Some new sports are coming to Colon Community Schools. Colon A.D. Noah Dooley says during their meeting on October 20, the Colon Board of Education voted to approve the addition of Girls varsity golf, Junior High baseball and Junior High softball. The baseball and softball programs will start in the Spring of 2026 while Varsity girls golf will begin in the Fall of 2026. Dooley says they are looking for coaches for all three sports.
