
(COLDWATER) – It was a tough road trip for the Sturgis girls swim team as they lost to host Coldwater 97-86. Sturgis coach Lisa Gottschalk says her team was getting out-touched in several events. Ainsley Gump won the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke for the Lady Trojans. Sydney Herblet was first in the 500 Freestyle, while Mia Feyes won the 100 Backstroke. The 200 medley relay team of Gump, Lilly Whitehead, Stella Males, Katelyn Halling finished first. Coldwater’s Ambriah Lewis took first place in both the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. Macy Poradzisz was first in diving and qualifies for the diving Regional. Zoey Daws won the 100 butterfly and was second in the 50 freestyle.
