Lakeland suffers first loss, 41-27 to Garrett
(GARRETT) – In a battle of unbeatens, host Garrett beat Lakeland 41-27 in the NECC Big School Division opener for both schools. The Railroaders rushed for 407 yards on the night while the Lakers passed for 246 yards. Brayden Holbrook was 19 for 36 for 194 yards with a touchdown and 4 interceptions. Levi Cook had 4 receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown, while Myles Edwards had 6 receptions for 63 yards. Carson Mickem had 6 carries for 50 yards and a score. Drannon Miller led the Laker defense with 11 tackles and Austyn McFall had 8 tackles. Lakeland is now 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the NECC Big School Division. Garrett is 4-0 and 1-0 in the Division.
