(OTSEGO) – In a tightly fought game, the Sturgis girls basketball team dropped a road game to host Otsego 47-40 in a Wolverine Conference contest. Coach Andy Phillips says his Lady Trojans played tough defense, but left too many points on the table. Sydney Bir led Sturgis with 16 points. Cora Phillips added 12 points while Kennedy Finnerman had 6 points. Sturgis is now 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the Wolverine Conference.
