(PENN TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured when a vehicle struck a residence.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says at 2:10 PM Tuesday, a juvenile driver from Elkhart, Indiana was traveling west on M-60 at Calvin Center Road when the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle. They left the roadway, and struck a residence before coming to a rest.
A juvenile passenger from Vandalia was in the auto. They were taken by EMS to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.
No one in the residence was injured.
The Penn Township Fire Department and the SMCAS Ambulance Company also assisted at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
