(MENDON) – Tied at 14 after one quarter, host and No. 1 Mendon had a big second quarter as the Hornets beat No. 7 Concord 56-25 in a battle of 8 man teams. Owen Gorham led the ground game for Mendon with 9 carries for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns. JT Lux had 10 carries for 54 yards and 3 TD’s as Mendon rushed for 328 yards as a team. Zak Iobe had 7 tackles to lead the Mendon defense. Ryder Gorham had 5 tackles. Mendon is now 3-0 on the season, while Concord is 2-1.
