(ANGOLA) - Steuben County Treasurer LeAnn Boots has announced that the 2025 property tax bills were mailed to all property owners as of March 26, 2025.
Boots says property owners are encouraged to carefully review their tax bills to ensure accuracy. The Spring Installment is due by May 12, 2025 and the Fall Installment is due by November 10, 2025. The Treasurer’s Office does not send a second bill for the Fall Installment.
Boots says for the public’s convenience, tax bills are available for payment through various methods. That includes online. LINKA. Also in person at the Treasurer’s Office, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM; by dropping them off in the Treasurer’s Mailbox in front of the Community Building (silver box), and by mail.
Boots says her office will also have payment drop boxes at F&M Bank, Farmer’s State Bank-Angola, and First Federal Savings Bank. Detailed instructions on payment options are included with the tax bills.
Boots says property owners who do not receive their tax bills or have questions regarding their assessments should contact the Steuben County Treasurer’s Office for assistance. The County is committed to providing high-quality services to its residents and ensuring the effective management of tax assessments and collections.
A reminder that the Treasurer's office does NOT text or call taxpayers who are delinquent on their property taxes. If you receive such a text or call, it is a scam. When in doubt, call the Treasurer’s Office at 260-668-1000 to confirm the status of your property taxes.
