(WHITE PIGEON TOWNSHIP) – Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash in St. Joseph County.
Michigan State Police from the Marshall Post responded to a two vehicle crash around 9 AM Monday on U.S. 12 and Sevison Road in White Pigeon Township.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a car heading north on Sevison Road failed to yield to an eastbound utility truck. The truck struck the car, and then a large tree.
The driver of the truck, a 23 year old from Worthington, Indiana, was removed from the vehicle and was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the car, a 27 year old from White Pigeon, had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
