(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash in Southern Michigan injured one person.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says at 1 Pm Friday, 24 year old Corey Chapman of Sunfield, Michigan was traveling south and arrived at the intersection of M-40 and M-60. 65 year old Darlene Tucker of Three Rivers was heading east, and both vehicles entered into the intersection at the same time and crashed into each other.
Chapman’s passenger, 23 year old Jakob Greenman of Sunfield, was transported by Newberg Ambulance to Beacon Health Three Rivers Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Also assisting at the scene was the Newberg Fire Department.
Everyone was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
