(CLIMAX) – It was a back and forth contest that saw host Climax-Scotts score with just under a minute left in regulation to beat No. 6 Mendon 46-44 in an SCAA 8 Man Red Division contest. Mendon outgained the host Panthers 399-307. Owen Gorham led the ground game for the Hornets with 33 carries for 201 yards and 5 touchdowns. Ryder Gorham was 9 of 12 for 96 yards and a TD. Defensively, Nick Stiver and Grant Crotser each had 7 tackles for Mendon. Jackson Bagwell had 9 carries for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns including the game winner. Mendon is now 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the SCAA 8 Man Red Division. Climax-Scotts is also 7-1 and 5-0 in the Division, winning the Division title.
