(UNDATED) – Get ready for a dose of winter weather around the area today.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 7 PM for St. Joseph, Branch and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan, along with LaGrange and Steuben Counties in Indiana.
Forecasters are calling for snow and freezing rain until mid afternoon, changing to rain and then possibly mixing with snow after 5 PM. There could be up to one tenth of an inch of ice accumulation.
Slippery diving conditions are likely around the area. Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution while traveling.
