(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash sent one of the drivers to the hospital.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, 21 year old Jocelyn Holdeman of Jones was driving south on Corey Lake Road at 11:43 Tuesday morning. A second vehicle, operated by 63 year old Sue McDowell of Jones was heading east on M-60, approaching Corey Lake Road.
Deputies say Holdeman failed to yield the right of way to McDowell and crashed into her vehicle.
McDowell was taken by Newberg Ambulance to Beacon Health Three Rivers Hospital to be treated for her injures. Everyone was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
