(STURGIS) – A Constantine Township resident has announced his candidacy for the Michigan House of Representatives.

Wednesday night, Max Coon introduced himself to the Sturgis City Commission and announced his plans to seek office. LINKC.

Coon, who is an officer with the Constantine Police Department, shares why is he running for a seat in the State Legislature. LINKD.

Coon shared that he grew up in Lansing and previously worked for State Senators, along with being a small business owner and working with the community. He says he’s learned a lot since being a Township Trustee and now wants to be able to serve more people.
