(COLDWATER) – The Sturgis wrestling team went 3-2 and finished in third place at the Coldwater Classic on Saturday. The Trojans started the day with a win over Reading (52-24), then lost to Allegan (12-63) before beating host Coldwater (45-34) and Chelsea (39-28) and then falling to Bronson (30-48). Aaron Castro went 5-0 and won the 157 pound championship for Sturgis. Going 4-1 were Cooper Barkby (106), Lola Barkby (126), Dechlan Fieberkorn (138) and Angel Alvarez (165).
