Sturgis boys snap losing streak, beat Burr Oak 58-50
(STURGIS) – Host Sturgis jumped out to an 11-0 lead, but Burr Oak fought back and took a lead late in the game before Sturgis regained control and beat the visiting Bobcats 58-50 in non conference boys basketball action. Lukis Bir led the Trojans with 16 points. Carson Eicher added 15 points and Gavin Moore had 14 points on the night. LINKC. Burr Oak got a game high 18 points from Austin Cole, along with 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists. Braxton Boyles added 16 points and 10 rebounds while Kayden Cole had 8 points and 4 assists. LINKD. Sturgis is now 2-4 on the season while Burr Oak is 4-1.
