(INDIANAPOLIS) - LaGrange County had the lowest unemployment rate in northeast Indiana during December.
It went from 2.5% in November down to 2.2% in December according to Indiana’s Department of Workforce Development.
Steuben County was next at 2.3%, down from 2.5% in November.
DeKalb County dropped from 2.8 % to 2.5%. Elkhart County was down one-tenth of a percent from 2.8 to 2.7%. Noble County also dropped one-tenth of a percent from an even 3 to 2.9%.
Northeast Indiana was below the state’s rate of 3.2% in December.
