(THREE RIVERS) – A member of the Three Rivers City Commission was arrested on a charge of alleged assault and battery.

St. Joseph County District Court officials say that Lucas Allen was arrested Sunday and transported to the St. Joseph County Jail. Allen was scheduled to be arraigned, but it was canceled after the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office decided to not charge him under the charges he was arrested for.

The case is still under investigation.

Allen is an At Large Commissioner for the City of Three Rivers.
