(STURGIS) – Sturgis City electric crews, aided by crews from other communities, continue to work to restore power following Sunday’s storms.
Sturgis City Manager Andrew Kuk says the Electric Department is estimating they still have several hundred customers without power through the City’s service area. Much of the work is within neighborhoods and involves replacing broken poles, or is around downed trees and branches, so progress may be slower than typical to bring the remaining outages online.
Kuk says they thank the community for their continued patience and understanding.
If you are experiencing a power outage that you have not yet reported, please contact the Sturgis Outage Line at 269-659-7255.
