(MASON TOWNSHIP) – A man was injured over the weekend in a scooter accident.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says at 12:17 PM Friday, deputies were called to a motor scooter crash on Tharp Lake Road near State Line Road in Mason Township. They found a 19 year old man laying in the roadway suffering
from head injuries.
The victim was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released. The Porter Fire Department and the SEPSA EMS assisted deputies.
The crash is still under investigation.
