(SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a two vehicle crash in Silver Creek Township.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, 66 year old Patrick Robbins of Dowagiac was driving east on Dixon Street near Indian Lake Road at 11:29 AM Wednesday. He intended to turn into the Silver Creek Township Hall when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Robbin's vehicle was then struck by a westbound auto driven by 27 year old Jacyln Gillenwater of Hartford.

Robbin's passenger, 64 year old Tammy Robbins was transported by SMCAS Ambulance to Beacon Dowagiac Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Also assisting at the scene was the Sister Lakes Fire Department.
