(MILTON TOWNSHIP) – Injuries were reported to the drivers in a two vehicle crash.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called out at 2:45 PM Monday for a crash that happened near the intersection of Gumwood Road and Bertrand Street.
Deputies determined that 81 year old Kearron Morris of Niles was driving north on Gumwood Road, and failed to stop in time, rear ending a vehicle driven by 19 year old Hannah McLinden of Niles. McLinden was attempting a left turn from Gumwood Road to Bertrand Street at the time of the crash.
Morris was taken by the SMCAS Ambulance Service to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash. McLinden was treated at the scene by EMS.
