(QUINCY TOWNSHIP) – A two vehicle crash over the weekend sent one person to the hospital.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out Sunday to a crash in Quincy Township. The investigation determined that a 57 year old Florida woman was driving a semi north on Fiske Road and failed to stop at the intersection of Jonesville Road. Her vehicle was struck by an SUV that was heading west, and driven by a 43 year old Litchfield man.
The SUV driver was taken to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo to be treated for serious injuries. The semi driver was not injured.
The Coldwater Fire Department along with Life Care Ambulance assisted deputies.
